Chessington World of Adventures- Explorer Car Park Project

This project involved improving the existing made up even tracks to provide a new fit for purpose car park for the use of the guests visiting the theme park. The first task after the setting out had been completed was to excavate and lay over 2000m of concrete kerbs and edgings to retain the new roads and pathways. Once the kerbs to both sides of the roads were laid the roads and paths were excavated, a new sub-base installed and over 10,000m/2 of tarmac was laid to provide a new permanent solution to our clients parking operations.

This project was carried out in 2 phases to allow continued operation of the Go Ape attraction, as well as this our team had close co-ordination with the client and utility provides to manage and divert public footpaths and carry out works within the proximity of high pressure gas and oil pipelines.
