Well this was an exciting one to be involved with... what started as a tired/rotten meerkat enclosure has been transformed into a new impressive play area. We were tasked with demolishing the old walls and hut, excavating the existing surface and laying a new compacted sub-base. Concrete edgings were installed to retain the new surface, block paving was laid and an old buried inspection cover was raised and replaced with a recessed cover. Although we did not install the new climbing equipment or the rubber surface it was great to see this area be improved and able to offer something different for the younger guests.
